The EPIC Guide To Mononoke Soundscape & Drone Synth for the iPad - FULL Tutorial
Although Mononoke has been out for ages now it is still one of the synths that I use on a regular basis on my live streams, especially the ambient drone stuff.
I wanted to do a tutorial explaining everything about the synth so anyone who may be interested can get a better grasp on how it all works together.
To me it's a bit like a poor man's Soma Lyra 8, there are a fair few similarities between the two.
Of course, it's also much cheaper than the Lyra 8 hardware, but I think in many ways just as powerful and mysterious as the other, plus you can have many Mononokes going at the same time.
I hope you enjoy the video and it inspires you to dig out Mononoke if you have it and haven't used it for a while.
Or if you don't have it I hope you check it out.
Mononoke isn't for everyone but if you like soundscaping, ambient or making textures, then this should definitely be in your toolbox.

Thanks @thesoundtestroom ; Mononoke is so easy to get good sounds from with very basic tweaking so getting this deeper view is making me realize that I haven’t taken enough advantage of this awesome app. @brambos : just awesome. MORE PLEASE!
This was the clearest video I’ve seen on Mononoke yet, thank! Id have bought it eventually (because one day I’ll own all of Bram’s apps), but I got this right after watching your vid.
@timelining Thank you😊 I’m glad it was clear
