    I listened to this several times and it just kept getting better. I really like the opening chord sequence, sort of mysterious and dangerous sounding. Then the drums came in at just the right time, followed by the complex bass line which completed the story. Towards the end, in my head, I was hearing Carlos Santana wailing a slow lead over the top. I hope this is just part one of a much bigger composition!

    Most delicious. Lo-fi done tastefully. BOC album interlude. Warm and punchy drums. The bass actually comes thru on my SE phone speakers. Good mix. I can’t wait to listen on my cans.

    At one time, I played keys, bass, and guitar and actually got paid a few times. I would suggest you take a look at Blocs Wave. They have some good guitar samples that would sound great over this. You might have to mix and match a few, but they are cheap ($1.99 US dollars) and are completely royalty free. Have a great night!

I personally wouldn't go for a traditional guitar solo on that track, more of an eerie fluty type of pad in the upper register to start first, and then a heavily distorted and reverb wet guitar playing in high speed tremolo, and then a lofi sample of a woman's speech. But that's because I have always been in love with BOC.
