Is there an IOS sequencer that can do this?
On my 0-Ctrl, the steps can have a continuous variable speed value. The shorter the speed the longer the note holds and since it's not quantized to a grid, it makes for some really interesting off beat beats. Would love to know if this is possible in a software sequencer. Thanks for any suggestions!

Replying mid-workday, so I don't know if I captured the idea right
But it seems something that Quantum or Cykles does.

Thank you. I'll check them out!
Did you manage to check them out?
I'm gonna try and take a peek at how this sequencing goes on the 0-coast and see if I can replicate it here
Sorry. Just noticed it`s the 0-ctrl... thought something was off when I said 0-coast lol
Looks like Cykle does something similar, but the steps are in clock divisions and not continuously variable. There are so many options in the app, I need to spend more time to be sure.
I've checked the 0-ctrl manual and it seems very doable inside Drambo.
Do you own Drambo?
Quantum does this. Steps are clock-linked (by default anyway) but you have control over gate length and step speed so there is a ton of variation available.
I haven't tried this but I suspect you can also set a N steps in a row to GATE=100% which should allow you to come up with (seemingly) any length.
midiDreams does this as well but it's also synced to clock.
Yes I do.
I think the variable step timing sequencer is the main challenge so I've put something together for you.

Awesome, @rs2000
Gonna give it a try too
Thanks for the wizardry
OMG! Thanks so much for this! It is working!
There are a couple things that could be modified on the time row. The main thing is the range of time is much greater on the 0-Ctrl. It does seem to almost reach audio range on the high end and goes slower at the low end. Also, can the time dial direction be inverted?
I don't know Drambo at all yet, but is it possible to send CV and gate signals? (probably not I would imagine)
MIDIsteps and dreams can both be advanced by incoming MIDI notes in their respective gate modes (they need not run clock synced). If you let these notes come from a free running arp in Drambo I guess you can achieve something close?
miRack will give the experience closest to modular sequencing.
Yes it is.
I am not Drambo pro enough to know if it can get as extreme as the O-Ctrl but I know it can do it to some extent.
JFTR. These videos appear to be recently uploaded.
(I don’t know if miRack has a complete set of modules with the same functionality as VCV Rack in the videos. And I only watched part of the videos. I have no knowledge of modular synthesizers.)
Great to know about too! Thanks. will be checking this out.
@rs2000 pure genius. You need to set up a Drambo Module Shop.
