    Thanks for your message.

    Normally, there should be no issues to use MIDI CC with 3rd party AU apps (as long as the apps itself support this).

    Please check back with the app vendor. If required, I'm at hand to have them equipped with a Cubasis promo code for testing purposes.

    In standalone, the app receives MIDI messages direct from CoreMIDI. Inside Cubasis, it may only receive messages from Cubasis. Are you able to route (or map) the controller to the AUv3 app in Cubasis? This is easy in a host like AUM, which makes MIDI routing transparent. I'm not so sure about Cubasis 3.
