F&G Composer issue 6! FREE and jolly smashingly good!

Hey fellow forummers,

A little later than planned this month but here's issue 6 - indeed, a whole half a year of insightful and hopefully entertaining features. This time we have reviews of Game of Thrones' soundtrack, same for the cover star Aurora in the excellent Child of Light, a look at (and listen to) the berimbau, an examination of Western Sahara desert blues, and much more...

Such as: interviews with Erik Sigth (he of Humbletune and those odd apps like e-l-s-a and Nils - find out how they got their names), electronica wizard 2ndMouse, and - what? - Lars Ulrich of Metallica! We've also got a review of Quincy, mathematicians' wet dream and composer curiosity, which is more than it seems and has nothing to do with examining dead bodies (or does it?).

As always, almost all pictures are interactive so do explore the mag :-) And remember, this is free. We're always happy to welcome new writers so if you have anything to contribute, PM me or email the address in the mag.

Thanks for your time. Now let's get back to making awesome tunes. After you've read the mag of course. Now.

Next month we'll have an app review blowout along with all the other good stuff. So there.

Chris

    Cool....thanks.

Looking forward to Erik Sigth's interview more than Lars Ulrich's. Is that weird? ;)

  • An excellent read as always @sickmoth. I loved the interview with ERik. It's great to get a glimpse of the man behind such quality apps. Nice review of Quincy too. Looking forward to #7 already.

  • does anybody still have a copy of this? seems to have dropped off the face of the internet. would love to read erik's interview.

Hey @dderks, yes I do indeed. We'll be re-publishing all copies of F&G and unveiling a (potentially) long-awaited new mag very soon. In the meantime, feel free to PM me and I'll send you the issue.
