velocity curve app?

What's a good midi processor app that allows me to customize my velocity curve?

  • MIDI Tools by Victor Porof...

  • I'd take a look at Midi Tools by Atom developer.

You can use the AUv3 Midi Plug-In to change the velocity response among other handy things.

  • Yep. Play with (or automate) the drive, dampen and random knobs for good results.

Speaking of that, I have wondered why I can map these AU parameters in Drambo, but in AUM no parameters show up for automation for MIDI Curves (the particular plugin in MIDI Tools). Why would that be, @j_liljedahl? I don’t think I’ve seen that behavior with any other plugin.

Maybe Drambo is less strict in which parameters it displays. AUM only displays parameters that has their writable flag set.

Makes sense. Hopefully @blueveek could address this in a small update at some point.
