Yeah, I've watched both videos and it's quite interesting -- kudos again to @Sylvain for all the work.
I know you found it already in the other thread, but I'll be sure to include a dedicated button in Xequence 3 which when pressed will play an audio sample of how to correctly pronounce it 😆
Xequence 3...
Trying this as it looks great
But my Xequence in AUM shows unconnected
Thus not reciveing midi from Xequence
Where am I going wrong ???
Post pictures of your settings in Xequence and in AUM
Thanks @espiegel123
When I was taking pictures I noticed that Xequence’midi out’ virtual source wasn’t ’on’,
Now we are cooking
Thanks
You made me open my eyes
Can someone please help me with this? I am trying to replicate the steps in the first video using @Sylvain's 4M 2A Audiobus preset and my three midi instruments work in Xequence but I can't get Loopy Pro to record the audio as shown at 10mins 50 seconds. It will be down to me but I don't know which settings to check. I can see the red dot next to ARM in the Audio A - 1 in Loopy Pro. I have tried clicking first the play and then the record button in Xequence on the Audiobus switch bar but I can't get any red audio wave to show while I record in Loopy Pro.
Thanks
Perhaps you can make a screen record what you are doing and post a link to it.
Thanks @espiegel123. I will try to get a screen recording link posted soon. But I wonder if it is down to my version of Loopy Pro? I'm on Loopy Pro version 1.1.23 (527) owing features up to 3 March 2023 and I have seen there is an upgrade feature called MIDI Clock Sync Start/Stop Setting dated 25/11/2023. This and 18 other new features would cost me £14.99. I wondered if this was the feature I need to be able to record Loopy Pro audio syncing with Xequence? I'm tempted to just go ahead and purchase but wondered if this would fix it first?
I'm also on Xequence 2.6.2 Cavan and I haven't yet bought the Xequence Enhanced Pack for £4.99 and I'm on Audiobus v 3.5.35 (170).
Actually, I'm now thinking that as this Loopy Pro feature release came out after @Sylvian created his video demo in September 2022 here:
https://forum.audiob.us/discussion/51540/xequence-and-aum-playhead-sync/p2 not having the MIDI Clock Sync Start/Stop Setting feature dated 25/11/2023 is not the cause of my issue.
Xequence’s role is triggering the sounds. You say the sounds aren’t recording. If you start loopy recording and manually trigger the instruments, do you hear them but they don’t record?
Have you considered hosting the instruments directly in Loopy Pro?
Thanks @espiegel123, it is sorted now. @Sylvain's 4M 2A template is perfect. Very embrassingly, it was me. I was only hitting the Xequence play button on the Audiobus switch bar in Loopy Pro instead of the Xequence record button. Now I can record midi instruments in Xequence and record my very average singing in Loopy Pro hosted in Audiobus and they all play back in time. This is fantastic and I can see many work lunch breaks being filled up with this.
