Pachelbel Meets Tubular Bells Via Piano Motifs (Beta)

Pachelbel’s famous chord progression (cliché no. 1) used in a Tubular Bells (cliché no. 2?) sort of vibe piece all played by 10 instances of the beta version of Piano Motifs.
All sounds from BeatHawk other than 2 ARPs from DRC.

  • Love the melody and bells on 0:56.
    Th chimes are so lovely.
I love the softness of the bells.
And the added beat makes it so alive.
The electric guitar on 2:26 makes this a rock piece, lovely creation.

Makes me think of something Moondog might have come up with, if he’d been big on synths and electric guitars.

  • My wife and I walked down the aisle to Pachelbel’s Canon. (It wasn’t such a cliché in 1984)

I kinda wish we had used this instead.

    Very nice job.

  • Your alchemy turns clichés into fresh musical creations.

  • Haha, can’t hear Pachelbel. Tin ears? The beginning did sound like Kurt Weil to me…. Sort of like The Ship, The Black Freighter. Interesting.

  • Thanks everybody…
The guitar worked surprisingly well I thought @ReneAsologuitar , nicely angular. BeatHawk Blues Guitar pack.
Will check MoodDog out @Svetlovska , had heard the name but not heard any of his music. Looks a fascinating character.
@rottencat thats great.Didn’t mean the original was a cliche but the things (includimg mine 😊) that have piggy backed on it since.
@azul3D_Apps , I think you’ll find that you had a key part in this 👍
Same progression @LinearLineman I.e. I-V-VI-III-IV-I-IV-V but I did mine in Minor and the original is Major. I doubt if there is any Tin around your Pinnas🙏
