DRC Cloud Sync

Hey Team

Just scooped DRC for desktop on sale at WA Production ($27USD) as I love in the pad and phone. A question for anyone using it across iPhone/iPad and desktop - are you able to get cloud sync working between the all devices/platforms? The info in the help is scant and mentions a Sync button which I am unable to find on the interface. Happy to called out as a dummy if you can point me in the right direction :)

  • I am also having issues with cloud sync between iOS and desktop. Hope there's something we both are not doing right that will fix the issue!

If cloud sync is supposed to save Favorites across all instances of Imaginando's synths/apps, then it has never worked for me.

Also, I don't know why but DRC and FRMS both refuse to retain login information and they require me to re-enter my information every single time I use them, on both iOS and desktop. This is something that should be a cakewalk to fix, but it has never been addressed as far as I know.

And since this basic information cannot be retained, it affects what is in my patch library as well. Their system insists I must re-buy all of the patches I've bought from their Store (through the apps), then when I do re-buy them, they tell me I've already bought them and would I like to have them for "free"...

This is some really basic stuff which needs to be fixed. First of all, the login and current status of purchases needs to be saved on the app! Second, use of cloud storage should populate between both desktop and iOS versions of the same apps. I don't want to re-Favorite hundreds and hundreds of patches.

Also, if @sinosoidal from Imaginando is checking these threads, perhaps he could respond. Thanks.

Posting here is the best way to see if others are having similar issues. Have you experienced the same thing?

I've also just sent a query to support. Thought I would check here first in case it was user error :)

  • Just got a response from Imaginado and sadly it looks like Cloud Sync is broken and will eventually be removed from DRC. Looks like it's manual export and import. I'd love to be able to export and import a whole bank but not sure this is possible.

Oh, boy. Why don’t they just learn how to integrate iCloud data saving? I really don’t understand what these guys are doing.
