Nothing like a little maths joke to kick things off. This song is called...
Cowboy.
It's a live performance, with Hammerhead making drum sounds. So it's a bit rough and low-fi, but good enough for me.
There's not a lot of looping in it. And it features my amusing floor bass keyboard. Thus the jaunty camera angle.
so, hoping for 55 views and whatever 10% more than zero comments is.

Very impressed with the floor bass keyboard
Good job!
Just here to boost your views… 😊 My listening is always about a week or so behind so you’ll get a bonus then 👍
Great live performance!
Women do like your song 👍🏼
Love the diy foot pedal! 😍
Giving you a comment, sounds really nice! And glad you pre-empted the math jokes 😂
But genuinely, really good track and nice to see the setup 👍
BTW, this also validates that youtubers asking for comments and likes etc works 😉👍
Really good! I've only listened once and it's already stuck in my head for today 🙂👍
This is rather glorious. 👊👏
Impressive sounds coming out of your set-up.
The guitar is really good. The vocals is a bit lower in the mix.
Tendency is someone thinking that they are loud and overpowering, but actually not.
Specially with your vocal quality, you are not shouting, so it is ok.
I always like the vocals to be floating above all the instrumentation.
Well done

Thanks you so much. Feeling really low at the moment so it means a great deal to me.
Amazing song / performance, brother!
Hope you feel better
Simon is definitely someone. Love the mirror. Excellent stuff and a beautiful vocal style. Don’t be discouraged here with lack of attention. It ain’t personal. Most are here for the apps and tech, but many listen. Don’t be shy about bumping your own thread if you feel it’s a worthy track.
@ReneAsologuitar nice to see you offer critical feedback in your area of expertise. You have a lot to contribute 👍👍
An impressive performance. Watching you manage the bass parts, the loops, playing guitar and singing I had to wonder how many times you rehearsed this. My performing days are long behind me. All I did was sing and play guitar and I can’t imagine how long it would take me to come close to this.
Seriously. Well done.
Great aesthetics man, and great performance!!
Lovely!
Sounds great! And I like your nice little jam space you have there. Keep it up!
Nice vocals mate.
You really have the technology of looping mastered.
I must agree the vocal needs more dominance in the mix. You can mitigate that by sharing the lyrics so we can follow along with less detail.
I hope this becomes a habit so the forum builds a bridge to live performers that use iPads and apps like loopy pro. That’s something of my entry point but I went deep into creating purely with apps.
@McD @Poppadocrock @Edward_Alexander @AudioGus @magnusovi @MadeofWax @senhorlampada,
Again, thank you all so much. Means a lot. I must say the begging for views was a bit tongue in cheek.... Nobody owes anybody views or comments, i totally realise that. I do comment on other people's stuff a bit, but not that much if I'm honest.
Re the vocal, yeh I have a tendency to keep it low as I don't have a strong voice, unlike Rene who has a great, confident voice. And I kinda like the low in the mix sound too aesthetically.
MadeofWax - literally probably 50 times to get a keeper, I kept messing up something or other. This one has minor stuff ups too. like hitting 2 bass notes at one point.
McD, here are the lyrics.
So alone you ride into the sun
A chestnut pony, a Stetson and a gun
Like an outlaw, man on the run, Like a cowboy
Come the night, sky a velvet black
A billion stars, cool breeze at your back
Watch the cattle down along the track
The star of your favourite TV show strides onto the set
The camera pans across the desert glow to where stands the cowboy
Meeting over, shake your client's hand
Check your phone, tonight there's nothing planned
Driving home, the suburbs choke the land
How you washed up here you cannot understand
The star of....
Out on the range, or on the screen, alone at home, deep in dreams
The star of...
... but you're not that cowboy, let it go
truly not autobiographical, I have no desire to be a cowboy!
Love your voice ! It is a great song, It sticks in your brain at first listen. And the live performance and video setting are also great. Subscribed to your channel. Your other track Leave Here, is gorgeous ! Please make more!
I loved everything about this: the songwriting, the vocals, the performance, and the vibe. Amazing work, some of the best I’ve ever heard on the forum.
