  • Looked through your vimeo catalog. What exactly are you doing with loopy sample crate and xequencer pads? Could you explain your set up and routing a bit?

    Thanks
    (ps it looks intriguing)

I can easily audition loops in the sample crate slide over. When I find one I like, I drag/drop it on the loopy doughnut (which stretches to it to the current tempo) which is linked to the slicer that immediately slices it on the transients. The loop and slices are MIDI learned to the Xequence pads (so I can later on record/playback my performance as a MIDI track if I want to). It’s a way to start playing with a loop/slices that’s immediate/quick.

  • Nice - thanks :)

No particularly unusual midi set up?

  • Btw, unless one is planning on recording to a midi sequencer, the xequence pads AU isn’t needed.

no, it's only the xequence pad's MIDI going into Loopy.
