Now Here's My Plan...
Now here's my plan... it's something my dad would say to me before I did something incredibly stupid.
This one's for you dad!
I think @McD might like this because it's chock full o' ugly chords. @JanKun might dig it because he and and I are both experimental guys with little or no regard for the mainstream. @LinearLineman will probably say... Paulie... WTF were you thinking!

That smokin’ percussion kept me engaged. I also love those bass patterns that ground the tonal center so you can decorate over it. Really cool construction.
nice leads and percs! atmospheric! 👍 s-f
many great keyboard lines
drums reminds „broken beats” , overall interesting!
Thanks bro! I did this one a few months ago and your reference to mixed key centers convinced me to post it. Those chords are butt ugly! Who doesn't like a nice butt? I am hoping to do the same in StaffPad.
I also thought the busy percussion under the brooding, weird chords made for a nice contrast. I'm glad you heard it, too! Thanks for confirming that. Have a great weekend.
No disrespect to your dad but I wouldn’t call this “something incredibly stupid “. I do think the rhythm section is really good, the chords are far from what I would call ugly, and as @szczyp mentioned the keyboard lines are pretty amazing. Glad McD’s comment convinced you to post this.
Believe me, I did some stupid things! When I say 'ugly', I mean that as a term of endearment. There are no ugly chords. I especially enjoyed doing the synth jam at 1:48. I did that in Thumbjam. It has some great default sounds and a useable interface. It's almost as good as GeoShred. In some ways, it's better. It was perfect for this one.
I love this composition.
The beat is very alive, controlled chaos, but that's when Dad lets me experience a bit of ugliness.
I can put this on my earphones running the thread mill, but that's during my running days.
I should, but I don't.
Thanks Paul!!!

I found your music @Paulieworld and a lot of other gentelmans at this great Forum as very inspirational and motivational examples for my own trying to do something finished. Last night @LinearLineman put song about Lost memories, and earlier @McD piano/cello plus colaboration in staffpad - this and more @Janosax and @rs2000 videos from Dr.Ambo …. You people motivate me to stay in focus. Sometimes I need motivation like that from external. Thank you. And great LoopyPro/LK is still under development.
Thank you for taking time to listen and comment. Very much appreciated!
If you are interested in iPad music, this is probably the best place on the internet. I'm sure that everyone here will join me in saying - we're glad you're here! You will find an endless amount of great, original music, and lots of people who are willing to provide tips and advice. Don't hesitate to post whatever you have. Have a great day!
The ThumbJam synth break was amazing, no idea how you did that 🤔 Great track!
It was a beautiful day. I was just playing around. Thank you!
I would love to do a collaboration one of these days.
I have a track that you would enjoy.
Are those Electric Spoons? They are hard to get after a teenager in Ohio used them to eat some Wheatley’s and got brain damage. Huge pay out for the family.
Jan Hammer style synth solo. What happened to that guy after “Miami Vice”?
Near the end it sounds like electric tap shoes. Again hart to find… grounding issues made a talent contest a winner put they did realize the musclex were just responding to 110V AC current. Still. Nice a trophy and PTSD are cool prizes.
Epic creation from the fertile mind of @Paulieworld.
@McD Those are actually the 'eSpoons' prototype from Korg. That kid is still in intensive care. The family moved to Florida and are doing okay. I don't know what happened to Jan Hammer. If you see him, have him call me. The tap shoes are actually the original shoes from Gene Kelley as Pinky Benson. Extremely rare!
Great... now I have to Google Pinky Benson. You are the master of pop culture for the mid 90's.
Thanks. I think the dance routine needed more salt to come through in the mix.
