mKer AU
From the makers of M LFO.
Just spotted this looks interesting but not sure if it’s out yet, any one care to shed any light on the the mKer AU

Whaaattt! Awesome.
They teased it in July too.
Awesome! Love mLFO and Loadker. Looking forward to it.
Want
Reminds me of StepPoly Arp (which very seldom comes to use... )
Awesome!
StepPolyArp is cool but this one looks more like Drambo's step sequencer in a stripped down version.
Almost like a StepPolyArp Bud if you will.
Anyone figured out the new chord functions yet the update is not clear ?
Any reports on this? Is it any good?
On the edit page the are buttons that select and toggle chords on the bottom left
It’s, if I may summarize, a grouped (by default 4) lane step sequencer that has clip launching abilities. In addition you can transpose the sequence lanes, add probability, velocity…
A highlight is the step sequencer lanes can have different tempos and different lane lengths. Leads to nice polyrhythmic stuff or nice chords and note suspensions in one lane and shorter fasted apps and Melodie’s on others.
Think a X0X meets drambo sequencer
It is pretty comprehensive, and once the patterns are in - which can be a bit tedious - it’s super as a clip launcher
Ps - I like it. I’ll be back on incorporating it once my side journey to Strokes land is done.
Yeah, thanks. For anyone else: you have to scroll that menu to find them at the bottom.
Cheers was missing the scrolling bit
As a fan of sequencers, tedious is a good word to describe the app. I tried, watched tutorials and it didn’t jive with me. Sequencers shouldn’t take time to set up. Mileage may vary so take what I say worth a grain of salt.
Once it’s setup it’s way easier and performance oriented, but yeah
I’ve used it a few times now and I really like it. It’s not my go-to and won’t be my favorite but it’s enjoyable and pretty deep. Will definitely still be using it.
Looks interesting, but does it already have offset per note? That’s a must for me in any serious sequencer.
Hi, this is Achillefs from axart software. Offset as well as gate are adjustable via sliders for every step. The offset (delay) can be set up to 2/3 of the step's duration:

I am just getting into it but have another question for you: Why does your screenshot look differently than mine (I don't have sliders for some things) and why are some things locked and how do I unlock them?
Hi again,
I understand that this forum's purpose is different. Having said that:
1) You can find the sliders for different parameters by tapping on the tab buttons (MAIN - PITCH - VELOCITY etc.)
2) My screenshots is from an upcoming version, in which only active steps are displayed on screen (the maximum number of steps is also going to increase from 20 to 32)
3) The 'lock' icon means that any change on this setting will change all lanes/tracks in the project. You can unlock a setting by tapping on the button with the 'lock' icon (bottom right on your screenshot). If you do that, any change will only apply to a specific pattern, not the whole project.
Hope that helps! (Note to self: need to update the manual/make some videos)
Cheers,
Achillefs

Aha hidden in plain sight! Thanks

I wonder if anyone can help me figure this out … I’m having an issue in mKer sequencer where after pushing ‘play’ in AUM, mKer will play through the lanes one whole time before producing any sound from the audio unit it’s routed to. During this first (silent) play through, the notes will light up in the sequencer as if they’re being triggered but no sound comes out until the second go around.
For example, if I have a 16 step lane, playing 1/16 beats, no sound will play until the 2nd measure (or the second time around for that lane). Likewise, if I have another lane with 16 steps playing at 1/2 beats, that lane won’t produce any sound until the 9th bar, etc..
I should note that all of the lane settings in mKer are set to their defaults, so there are no skips, offsets, or probabilities set.
I’d appreciate the help / thoughts if anyone has any .. thanks!
Hi Achillefs @axartsoftware , any chance to bring with next updates some AUv3 parameters like clip/pattern select etc? At now the only possibilities to control mker is from gui. Also MIDI external control would be useful.
EDIT; to answer myself, I get e-mail response informed that MIDI input is planned in various use-case.
@axartsoftware Any chance of getting an optional piano roll popup when editing the lanes, instead of having to drag out the notes? At least for me, it's usually easier getting a composition down when it can be drawn and visualized.
Hi, this is Achillefs, developer of mKer - could you please let me know if the issue persists? Thank you!
Hi, thanks a lot for the input, at this time here is no plan to implement a piano roll view and I do not think that it will be done anytime soon for the simple reason that there are features with higher priority to be developed first. One question: would MIDI in help your workflow when entering notes/chords?
Yes, preferably if it would also record midi from other apps as well as hardware input.
