Yeah, still working on it, and Hainbach is crafting a collection of killer presets. But it's coming along nicely. Finish line is in sight.

Hopefully still in time for your App of the Year lists B) :D

Oh man. I’m am beyond excited about this. Super curious too. If it’s out before December 31st it qualifies for my personal apps of the year list. If you need beta testers holla at me. Cheers!

Gauss is one of my favourite apps, so looking forward to the new one.

Hey Broski, what’s so cool about Gauss that sets it apart from other loopers in you opinion?

Hey Magski! Ease of use, and a friendly UI. I’m not really into looping as such, but Gauss allows me to quickly grab bits of audio, and play them back at different speeds, reverse etc.

I then build up soundscapes with multiple instances, muck about with the speeds etc., and record it all as a thing. Suits my weird ambient seepage perfectly.

Yea you can also use the mini 4 step sequence in 2 separate ways (trigger & loop), besides off which is regular playback, and set the steps to speed up or slow down which can create some weirdness. Delay, modulation, warble, inertia, 1989 mode, are all cool. Play reverse or forward. Decay the loop into nothing over a set amount of time.

One way I like to use Gauss to capture clips of web radio, or web audio, or YouTube audio, via the apps that do that, and then mess with them.

@magnusovi You can also use its Loop Decay and turn it into a delay with really long delay times, and use it for Frippertronics/ Discrete Music style stuff. Plus it has a speed sequencer, so you can make speed change patterns. It has a lot more depth than is immediately apparent.

    Sweet! Thanks for the tip!

Ah, I haven’t really explored the sequencer bit, I’ll have a play with that tonight!

  • Pretty sure @brambos dropped a hint on twitter. “Everything flows”

    :)

    Something that morphs between waveforms?

    Maybe something granular?

An app to measure cubic volume of European rivers?

Comfirmed release date from Hainbach aswell. Says it’s going to be a synth. Maybe tongue in cheek red herring 🔥?Theres definitely knobs there so maybe right ! Also looks like a sample section in the middle plus x y morph spectral pads at the bottom. Think Infinite! Probably barking up the wrong tree 🤔

  • 1 week to go!

Oh man, daar kijk ik naar uit!

    So do I! :)

  • No. Very few people have heard the app (outside of Hainbach’s recent live performances) :)
