IMO would be great if you can host the video in your channl! thanks! Also, would be great contacting silent/exoerimental film channels too so They can host it.
I`ll be finishing my part before the weekend, so there wil be enought time for inserting the audio into the image and hopefully make some kind of credits inside the video itself, and preprare for the grand opening at halloween
Maybe its a good time for having a final "logo" for the ABC (AudioBus Collective) so it can make into the video too!
Hi all, I've done a trial run of the opening credits. I've reduced it to just names as urls look horrid on movie credits IMHO and I think it's better to try and keep the onscreen time minimal. What I'd like to know is what each of you wants as your credit, some only provided forum user name, others much more, as you can see
I (almost) fell into my usual fonthole looking at suitable typefaces, I think this one works pretty well, not matching the existing one too much but being sympathetic but not too artificially gothic... I'll also use the @iOSTRAKON image at the end I think...
Current thinking is that more info can go on the youtube description; URLs, timecodes maybe? and descriptions of process / artistic intentions perhaps also...
the video at this link should be visible on most browsers, even if not logged in (I just tried it on anonymous browsing on laptop safari and all was fine)
Try not to hammer the thread so that I can keep track of people's wishes without too much trouble,
thanks,
Chris

Stick me down as Gavinski’s Tutorials please Chris. thanks for doing this!
I’d like to be listed as:
bygjohn | John Whalley
Or the same formatted however you decide to do it finally.
And is AudioBus/Audiobus just one word, rather than Audio Bus?
The way you have my credit is exactly what I want:
rottencat
No caps, no spaces, nothing else
Also +1 re: Audiobus vs. Audio Bus.
Thanks!
nice @Krupa! Please use just “Josue Arias” a my contribution name. Also +1 on “Audiobus “
ITOH, the soundtrack is ready guys!! 😍
Hi @Krupa i guess I have too many names 😂 . If you can just put me down as A Multitude of One that would be great, thanks.
@Krupa, I’ve looked at that font often. Gothic enough for me. Please add / Michael Levy to my credit. Thx, bro!
Can't wait to hear it! Any good or is it a mess? 😝

I think you will be surprised for the coherence in the music along the film. I did my best to make all tracks homogeneous in the overall sound print, this is what I did:
first I mastered each track submission, adjusting the dynamics, frequency response and spatial amplitude , making all cues coherent and homogeneous. also correcting things like rumble, out of phase lows and other details. Then I mixed the whole film, working with the transitions and also playing with the volume flowing the image. Then I mastered the whole film to further coherence , global eq and overall dynamics, also bringing levels to approx. K-18 mastering standard for film.
I think you’ll enjoy it!
Yeah it's definitely great, a combination of splendid contributions from all, and masterful editing from @Synthi - it's gonna be a real treat for us all to experience it fully in its new sonic glory...
I'm gonna copy paste the request I made earlier, thanks to the six who've already responded. Not counting myself, still seven to chime in, no massive hurry but hopefully I'll be able to export this week and we can figure out the upload from there - I'm tempted to drop it straight onto Vimeo just to get it up there, it'll be ad free and high quality, then see what other platforms to put it out on, but let's discuss that once we're closer...

Brilliant, I am genuinely dying of anticipation!
Looking forward to watching and listening to the final version. Thanks to everyone for all the work they have put in.
All good on my credit thanks @Krupa
Thanks all for the confirmations, I've sent DM/PMs to outstanding ones, sorry if I've missed any so far!
Chris
Forgot to say, love the style of the credits. Nice work.
I don't actually want to watch or listen to anything til the night of the actual launch - more exciting that way! Only thing to consider is timezones - if it is Halloween evening UK time for example, that would be maybe like 4am for me 😰 😂
I’m really getting excited now! And really impressed that it’s come together on such a short time scale, from idea, to project, to completion in just a few months with 15(?) people involved. Congrats to those doing the coordination - must have been like herding cats!
@Synthi ’s and @Krupa ’s comments about how it’s come together have just ramped up the anticipation level to new heights!
deep breath… and relax… 🤣
@Synthi I noticed on my drive I sent you a file with the reference beeps for the parts where I overlap with other segments
So sorry. But it seems it all still worked out fine
@Krupa I just replied to your DM too
And thanks all for the contributions. So anxious for our premiere
Has anyone had sight of @Kewe_Esse lately? My last one to confirm credits details, but I’ve got a feeling they’re busy with a work stint. I’ve seen that they put music out on a soundcloud account with the name QS which might be their preferred artist name… I’ll give it another day or so and then just make an educated guess, but is anyone knows better don’t hesitate to let me know 🙌🙏
I love it! Thanks Krupa.
Yup, been busy… will be till new year now ugh
So many ios toys, so little chance to play…
Itching for the Vampyr release!
