@SecretBaseDesign do you know when the mac app will come around? I saw you mentioned it in the other thread

Some time either end of this year, or early next year, I think. I'm trying to set up the "receive" portion as a virtual audio device, rather than as an AUv3 plug-in; it should allow things to work with more DAWs (not everyone supports AUv3).

The biggest hassle is getting Apple to accept things as a "universal purchase," to get people both the iOS and Mac apps. You'd think that this would be easy, but I'm hitting some sort of App Store keychain issue (which I'm seeing other people hit too), and there isn't an obvious fix.

Having receive in the Mac version running as a virtual audio device would really open up the possibilties for this - at the moment, my main DAWs / plugin hosts on the Mac don't support AUv3...

If you're still having problems with the universal purchase stuff, I may know someone who could help...

  • So, is this one currently not showing as AU receive inside Cubasis 3?

  • How is this doing?

No longer working for me since at least a few months. It's possible that it's something about my home network ... though nothing has changed that I know of since last it was working.

One of the reasons I'm interested is as a workaround for recording audio into Endlesss while waiting for them to hopefully release an AUv3 plugin to load into AUM etc. Jorge from Synthmaker put did something very similar with Tx and Rx AUv3 plugins, and it seemed to work ok, except Endlesss also doesn't have background audio, so switching between the apps was too much of an issue.

But I would probably use this all the time going from iPads to laptops etc. it's A glaring omission from IDAM
