It started at 99 cents, which I suspect a few people bit on, then went freemium. I downloaded it, but I fundamentally don't get the point of this. It basically has no purpose other than to sell the XKey hardware, and as a CoreMIDI companion, it's inferior to pretty much any legit synthesizer on the market, including One Red Dog's own Arctic ProSynth (which, IMO, is a bug-ridden mess compared to the competition).
I'll have to watch Doug's video and see if his usual magic convinces me otherwise. No, I did not buy the $2 sound pack.
This app's main point is being universal. I love the Filthy BLUE monster.
It has sone great sounds, but then they are from Arctic Pro I think, I did discover a very nice vocoder whilst making the demo, that was a bit of a surprise as you will see
