DrumComputer in AUM - set output MIDI channel other than 1 ?

I am running Sugarbytes DrumComputer as a plugin in AUM. I cannot find a way to define the MIDI output channel - it's always 1, but should be 10, the usual channel for drum machines. Could not find anything in the manual.

  • I tried the free trial version of DC standalone. (I’m not sure if I understand your question exactly or not.)

    Tap the gear icon in the upper right corner of the screen.
    Tap the "→" icon in Advanced Settings in General Settings.
    Tap Destinations in Midi to select a channel.

    Unfortunately the plugin (full, paid version) does not offer any channel settings in the advanced settings. The menu only offers iCloud sync settings, the manual and a link to Sugarbytes on the App store.

    There’s no way that I can find to change the MIDI output channel. Use a 3rd party midi utility to do so - like MFX Convert.

    OR change it in the STAND ALONE

    I was thinking about using MFX Convert - probably no other way to do this. But I was actually expecting an app as complex as DrumComputer to have a channel setting somewhere.

  • the AUv3 doesnt have the same menu when the cog is clicked. try opening the standalone version then navigate via the arrow to the midi out settings

    I think you need mfxStrip for that task. mfxConvert is for message by message conversions, not overall channel changes.

    Or a single line Streambyter script:

    X0 = X9
