Riffler is now AUv3, and creates amazingly realistic guitar riffs in a massive variety of tones up to 8 bars in length, in various styles, time signatures etc, with lots of levels of user control. It’s pretty incredible and a lot of fun. It can also be used to send midi out to other synths etc. Plus, it has an endless mode (in settings) which will mutate the riffs over time. Here I am using 3 non-mutating instances to build up a hypnotic, minimalist postrock style jam. I am using clean guitar tones but mangling the heck out of things with a ton of FX apps and using Gauss instances set to different bar lengths for Frippertronics style looping. Thanks everyone. Yeah I had an absolutely awesome time making this, with just a few run-throughs. It was all a bit on the fly, and though of course some parts could be improved if it became an actual track, and it could do with being a bit louder, I was pretty happy with how it came together, given that I was really just winging it haha
