Zenbeats3 query

edited October 2022 in General App Discussion

Hello,

I have sent an email to Roland support regarding the following but wondering if anyone here can offer any insight..

I’m loving Zenbeats - I don’t know if cause of the name I thought it was a toy, but it’s a really cool workstation. I’m having one problem that’s hampering it for me though..

Running on an iPad Pro 2021, I cannot for the life of me workout how to organise my own samples for the drum machine. I’d like them organised in folders. All I get when I select user is a big list of imported samples. I’ve tried tried placing and creating folders in various places, app won’t let me import more than one sample at a time.

It’s weird, as it has so many other cool features I can’t believe the sample organisation is this bad, unless by design to get you to buy their packs… hopefully just me.

All the best

  • Just a suggestion. I believe apps cannot import a folder because the folder is in the sandbox of another app, so it cannot be accessed. But some apps can accept a zip file of a folder. You could try that to import multiple samples. However, the flat (no folders) view of User samples may be part of the design.

  • Thanks I’ll try that..
