Light sequencer for use in AUM

I use troublemaker IAA as a step sequencer. Is there something similar that I can play live into, maybe a bit like a synth track in IAA Electribe Wave? Bonus if it supports both quantized and non-quantized.

  • Sequencer you can play live into:

LK by imaginando (stand alone and AU)
    Atom 2 (AU only)

Also Drambo (which is all things)
But if you want a screwdriver and not a Swiss army knife get LK or ATOM

  • Rozeta has the exact sequencer as auv3

Cool, will check these out. I am a bit afraid of the learning curve for Drambo, but will pick it up someday.

I have Rozeta. I think there is something better about Troublemaker (is it the randomness maybe?), but I guess I'll try it out when step sequencing the next time. I'm mostly interested in something that I can also play into, kind of like a synth track in Electribe Wave.

  • Have u tried pure acid?

If you end up getting it, don't worry with all the modular setup when you start. You can focus on using it as a host and sequencer. Check what Echo Opera does here on this video:

Later you can go deeper

Using Drambo as a sequencer is far different separate and easier than using it as a special effects sample processor, modular system, or even the dead simple AU host...

As a sequencer it's pretty bomb. Per step params (IE parameter lock). Multiple clip launching. Sequence recording from AU (with some other apps help*) or from live playback.

ON TOP of everything else there is a PATCHSTORAGE repository where you can download others works
