A speedboost of 20%.. not really a spectacular upgrade. My iPad Pro M1 is just fast.

Apple has been doing this for a while. They know what they are doing and will make sure there is a usage case in which you can tell the difference. If I were to guess I would say the M2 models will end up showing some kind of advantage in handling extended view.. we’ll see.

I wouldn’t completely rule that out TBH. The high-impedance jack on newer MacBooks has been well-received. I wouldn’t bet on it, but I wouldn’t bet against it.
They did bring back ports on the MBP, I guess it's not totally out of the realm of possibility.
I have to admit I’d consider an M1->M2 upgrade if a good headphone jack was part of the deal. Otherwise I’m expecting just a modest spec bump.
Oh heck yah if the M2 has a headphone jack I would upgrade in a heartbeat.

No joke, I literally bought a 9th Gen and now my iPad Pro M1 is just sitting there collecting dust.
I'll use it to test new updates, but my travel iPad is definitely my 9th Gen iPad.
