"Maybe sounds like MONKS singing electro on an imaginary ORB!"
It doesn't. Sounds like a croaky frog vowely formant synth with one preset and no envelope.
Nice sounding filter control can get a screaming feedback-like howl but doesn't seem to be exposed for automation.
Just tried it in standalone, and with the slider about 80% to the right, it does a pretty good Stylophone impression!
Comment of the week right here 😂 👍
Well, I think it’s good, for nothing
I’ve got two instances of it running through a metric f-ton of fx, driven by ShiftBud and Cykle, with Hammerhead on extreme rando drum, and it makes for a nice, mournful, Lo-Fi simple set-and-forget synth voice. And you really can’t beat that price! No monks sighted, however.
Actually, you can automate the filter control. In AUM, at least. Which opens up some possibilities, as does @Svetlovska ’s approach.
And for clarity, the Stylophone impression ≠ bad, necessarily. I believe they are back in vogue.
It's all fun in the sun. One.
Welcome back.
Edit: he's gone again! For those that missed it there was a full anti-everything rant!
