strymon big sky for your DAW!
I got an email this morning about the new Strymon Big Sky plugin. I'm excited, I have the pedal and have been searching for something similar in a plugin. My search is probably over. I'll be trying the demo tomorrow and comparing it to the pedal next week.

cool. will keep my little blue box though.
And you can always get away with the stratosphere verb on iOS
Wow, nice. That price tho.
$200? Have they ever heard of these guys? https://valhalladsp.com
I think because Strymon is a consolidation of different algorithms. You buy Valhalla modes separately.
12 algorithms x 50$ = 600 Valhalla :-)
Some guy asked for a discount for pedal owners… nice idea
Fabfilter Pro-R is probably a better comparison, and that’s $169 for desktop.
A discount for pedal owners would be sweet.
The Big Sky plugin is pricey, so are their pedals. I've been using the Big Sky pedal for guitar on my pedalboard and then vocals and keyboards on an aux send. A plugin would be much more convenient than repatching all the time. The closest thing to a Big Sky ITB I've found is using a combination of Valhalla plugins.
Anyway, I'm looking forward to trying this.
Edit: iLok. Meh, I'm not using iLok on my new computer. Moving on...
It's Strymon Big Sky.. they can ask anything they want, it's considered as one of best sounding reverbs currently available on market - SW/HW combined.. It's holy grail of reverbation ..
Yeah, good point. And if i should choose between Pro-R and Big Sky i no hesitate for second. Big Sky is final solution, everything else is just temporary workaround
More famous pedals being released as desktop plugins:
Was just about to post this. Hoping for iOS but I probably have to buy for desktop.
Something tells me that this blog post wasn't mere coincidence

I literally laughed out loud when I saw the price. I know some of y'all have the cash to drop on this, but I couldn't imagine spending that much to replace my stock reverb.
Thanks for sharing 👊🏼🙃😂
Amazing! Valhalla over all else.
@auxmux @david_2017 I always find their blog valuable, especially those related to design and workflow, even if I don't own the gear or plugins being discussed, like these:
Good stuff, thanks for sharing!
