This Twilight Garden - Live Looping Sessions Volume 1 (An Endlesss Creation)
Hello! I released a solo EP a few days ago created from the first three nights of my This Twilight Garden collectible jam on Endlesss [https://endlesss.fm/]. It's a spontaneous live looping creation so the tracks flow and evolve more than a "traditional" song might and you're essentially hearing the music as it was created--directly downloaded from my brain, as it were. It may contain some imperfections but overall I think it turned out beautifully.

A few items potentially of interest to readers of this forum:
The sounds in those tracks are almost entirely from iOS-based synths with a few samples thrown in from Blocs Wave (generally just vocals and more complex drum beats). Although Endlesss exists as an iOS app, my preferred setup uses the Studio version on Mac with an iPad for sound generation connected via IDAM. Apps that I can specifically recall using in these sessions include ThumbJam (a lot!), Kroenecker, TAQS.IM World Synth, SynthMaster(s), BeatHawk, Yonac Steel Guitar Pro, and I'm sure there were several others all hosted in AUM with lots of Blackhole, Alteza, BLEASS Filter and BarkFilter applied. Post-production was done in AUM with an FX chain including FabFilter ProQ3, BarkFilter, Blue Mangoo Stereo Width Control, a tiny dash of BlackHole (like 1-3%), MagicDeathEyeStereo, DDMF NoLImits and some minor editing work in TwistedWave.
I love Endlesss and its community! I know some of you are over there (yay!) and I would love to see more of you. I know it has a fair number of limitations and some irritating design decisions (i.e. no landscape mode on iOS), but also know the development team is hard at work improving things frequently, is very open to feedback (but have a long list to work through already). One of the greatest things about it is the ability to actively play with others in near-realtime looping jams--obviously not showcased at all in my solo release above--but it's also totally revolutionized my personal solo workflow, too. Jamming (I used to hate that word) is an absolute pleasure, everything is recorded and available later (audio, not MIDI--although that has effectively solved my tendency to work on a track for 10 years at a time), and track creation can happen in a variety of forms. I love how you can create these flowing compositions so easily, too. I could not have made this without Endlesss.
