mute guitar app
hi all!
do you have any recommendation for a mute guitar sound? i’ve tried bs-16i, but are there any other apps that have mute guitars?

The other day I tried the Korg Module app. They have a pretty good Clavinet with pickup selectors and fully variable mute. Put it through a guitar amp and it will be pretty close. After all, a Clav is the closest you get to an electric guitar but with keys.😁
If I recall right... there are mute guitar timbres in a lot of apps. Will try to recall and check which ones
And not sure if all would fit what you want. But as I recall, you're a reggae / dub guy...
Beathawk has a muted one with the Urban Factory pack that comes with it... And the Baroque pack has classical guitar harmonics and pizzicato that sounds nice (but maybe not what you want)
Garageband has one (or was it a muted bass)

Doesn't do it for me as a guitar player (nothing except maybe Steel Guitar does), but if you can find a sound that sounds anything like a guitar to you then you can palm mute it pretty expressively.
Riffler has mutes
You mentioned bs-16i, it can load sf2 soundfonts. There are tons of free ones in the www, also muted guitars.

StrummerFX by 4Pockets allows selectable muting for it’s guitars…in fact on all it’s available sounds.
