How to connect midi over bluetooth with AUM
I created a thread, not too long ago about how I was getting latency. Trying to send Bluetooth midi for my iPad to my iPhone. I eventually got it sorted by restarting both devices..
Now, I cannot get Bluetooth midi to work and have been troubleshooting for about an hor. I have midiwrench open and monitoring on my iPhone. I have bluetooth turned on for both devices. What do I need to do in AUM or Cubasis to send midi over Bluetooth?

You need to advertise the bluetooth port from one of the devices. And then you will see the device available as a Bluetooth MIDI device in AUM
I usually use MIDIMttr to set up the bluetooth advertising out of force of habit -- but maybe AUM now has that -- I don't have a device handy to check.
Gahhhh. The problem was that I didn’t have the two devices connected in a setting that I have never been into in midiwrench. I have never had to do anything at all with that app. I’ve always just opened it on my iphone and then configured things on the iPad. Now, I had to deliberately tell it to connect to my iPad via bluetooth.
The process has changed for whatever reason.
I now have a pattern of posting for help and figuring it out immediately afterwards.
You're welcome.
Btw, I use midimittr as well, but AUM has a WIRELESS MIDI section at the bottom of Settings that provides everything that is needed.
