Mike: Is this track leveraging any ot the BeatHawk loops as background? It has a commercial sheen that your usual explorations do not. “Commercial” meaning music people have purchased in the past: conventional. Your Jedi training removed most conventions from your vocabulary. I imagine Connie hovering over your hands and swatting them when you played a cliche lick
But I’m sure her methods were much more subtle like facial expressions and encouraging phrases like “Keep working at it… it will come with time.”
Rene is such a kind and pure soul, and this song captures that perfectly mate. I love the vibe. Cheers.
