I imagine that setup is : dj mixer...2 iPads with Gadget and 2 audio interfaces? Or one audio interface with several outputs?

And the sync ...Suppose Ableton Link activated on both iPads?

I like Jamal’s work. Definitely 2x Gadget, even recognize some stock sounds.
Looking at that setup I wouldn’t be surprised if it’s headphone out to dj mixer

He doesn’t only use it live, I notice it on multiple releases.
Example from an album released a week ago, featuring vocal samples from the Otorii gadget.

Seems he’s using the standard ones that come with the main app (Recife, Tokyo, Chicago, etc). I also hear add-ons like Gladstone, Bilbao, Vancouver, Milpitas.

But it’s more about the approach/attitude when making music. Not the tools.
Interview where he talks about using iPad.

Btw, Gadget unprocessed sounds cleaner than these releases. Recording it with the cassettedeck in your avatar might help

Reading this now! My second album (after "The Xperience" is complete) might be built 100% in Gadget! This is so inspiring!
