Man’s Search For Meaning
Victor Frankl wrote “Man’s Search for Meaning” to address his experience in the Nazi concentration camps. His work has opened the minds of millions…

I'm a fan of Frankl, I remember reading his account of looking at the stars when marching through the night at the labour camp thinking about his wife and her beauty while little beknown to him, she was already dead.
@Danny_Mammy, Frankl did his best and lived to 92. He developed his philosophy into a reputable technique called Logotherapy which helps people find meaning in life.
I love the opening chords. I would enjoy hearing a big-ass string section with this. Maybe, when I get some StaffPad skills under my belt, I could give it a go. Just a thought. I liked it!
As you know, I am no stranger to the search for meaning. I still haven't found it. I'm just happy when I search for my car keys and find them. I am not familiar with Victor Frankl. Maybe I should be.
his book is famous especially in the psychology/therapy world. a must read.
I started reading a few minutes after I posted. A few quotes got my attention. These two in particular.
If there is a meaning in life at all, then there must be a meaning in suffering. Suffering is an ineradicable part of life, even as fate and death. Without suffering and death, human life cannot be complete.
When we are no longer able to change a situation - we are challenged to change ourselves.
Hi @LinearLineman ,
Very emotive music, as if the music is defining the meaning we are in search of!!!
Each individual has that space, and each one has its own stimulus.
Our growth and freedom, most of the time, is already defined by our environment, and the biases we have been carefully taught, through the many intent and uneducated teachings years, specially during the formative young and tender ages.
This is very deep musical experiment you have here Mike, and great work!!!
With love and respect!!!
Rene
Thank you for the impulse and the soundtrack @LinearLineman
I’ve read that book twice in my life and it’s blown my mind both times. Brilliant.
I think Flugel is my favorite SWAM.
@Paulieworld, I can send you the project if you like.
@ReneAsologuitar, making music has certainly created meaning in my life. And Cynthia. And humor. That’s enough these days.
And thank you @jacou for your impulse to comment.
Hey @CapnWillie, time for a pm.
@Poppadocrock, me, too.
I’d have to go for the Tenor Sax @Wrlds2ndBstGeoshredr
The book that changed everything. Pure gold , one of the greatest ever .
Agreed @Telstar5. Borne of inconceivable circumstances.
Very nice… Flugel and Tenor Sax have to be two of the best SWAMS… deployed to great effect here 🙏 Some great ‘chunky’ chords as well!
Thx @GeoTony some are smooth and some are chunky, but it’s still peanuts.
