$130. But, it’s unclear from the description if it supports custom midi mapping

  • The Blueboard is cheaper and has an additional pad

On the other hand, has more capability than the Blueboard. Wired USB and TRS Midi option, Roland WM-1 (non Bluetooth wireless) compatibility, HID (typing keyboard) mode with alt keys (shift, control, command), and optional DC power.

Relying on BT and batteries in a live situation has always worried me. This would address those concerns if I was still performing.

  • I will sure hope that this has better setup options than Blueboard.
I have tried to use blueboard to switch patterns i Drambo and to bypass effects in aum but i have to press the pedals twice before it switches anything.
First press sends the cc value 127 and next press sends 0. I guess that they should both be 127 if every press should “count”

It could be nice if this could be set up in the blueboard controller so that i don’t spend 3 days figuring out how to make this in Mozaic 😂

That should not be how it works at all. The first press sends 127 and zero is sent on release. If you're getting something else then it should be possible to get to the bottom of it.

It would indeed be nice if there was more flexibility to store configurations in the Blueboard itself. But I don't think that's at the root of the issue in your case. I bet it can be worked out if you look at what's actually happening with a MIDI monitor. You might want to start a separate thread so people can help you work through it.

How do you have it connected? Are you going through the Blueboard app or having Drambo talk to the Blueboard directly?

If you use the Blueboard directly, it behaves as wim says. Pressing a pad sends an on message (a note or a cc depending on the mode ) and an off is sent when you release the pad.

  • @Lorichs - Drambo has both Momentary and Toggle behaviors available for MIDI Mapping. Selecting the other behavior than you have now may solve the issue.

That's the last post I'll make here to avoid hijacking the thread. ✌🏼

  • I think FS-1-WL can connect to both a peripheral (e.g., Boss GX-100) and a host (e.g., iPhone app)

  • Thanks @wim and @espiegel123

I’ll give it another dive 😊
