    I started to remember my Roland SH101 and that had a step sequencer.

    Ah yeah, in built sequencers are fun but limited. I prefer specialized tools now for the job. Drambo FTW.

    Synthmaster and most of the Virsyn synths have very capable arpeggiators - which are pretty close to sequencers

    Xythesizer primarily a sequencer with a very capable synth

    SynthMaster 2, Ripplemaker, Agonizer’s Wobulator, Magellan 2, Shockwave, Buttersynth, Synth One, iVCS3, Troublemaker, iWavestation’s and Polywave’s Wave Sequencing and Woodsynth has 4 seperate layers each with their own sequencer that can be run at disparate rhythms

    AudioKit Synth One has one. IAA, not AUv3, but it’s free and sounds really good.
