Hi Mike! Thank you for pointing me here. I subscribed to Joseph's YouTube channel and try to listen to his tracks as soon as I get the YT notification.
This track is absolutely gorgeous, and as you thought, Mike, right up my alley !
I am not sure adding vocals would do great for the track though. I would probably end with a melody à la Radiohead, which is not necessarily what the track and Joseph want and for the time being I don't "hear" any.
FYI the flow you are describing represents only 20% of the creation with my brother when he comes with a text I like and find a melody for it. The remaining 80% is usually more of an exchange where I come with a music and a melody and a few words which define the theme, then we begin to play a creative ping pong game. So in order to get lyrics for Joseph track, I would have to find a melody and a theme first. Melody shouldn't be too difficult, but I don't felt comfortable deciding a theme for somebody else's music. Joseph composed the track, his vision should prevail to stay true to his original intent and inspiration.
