How to route MIDI to AUv3 audio effects?

I just don't get it: How do I route MIDI to a MIDI controllable AU audio effect (a.k.a. AU MFX or AU Music Effect)?

Specifically, I use Cubasis (version 2 only), Zenbeats and Drambo. Can I use these apps to use this special plug-in format?

I know how to use/route these plug-ins in AUM. But I would like to use the AUv3 Music Effects directly (without any tricks using AUM) in a DAW.

I would be very grateful for any hints and tips.

I believe that in Cubasis, you create a separate MIDI track, and you're then able to send it to AUv3 app already loaded in an audio track.

And Drambo seems to provide both MIDI and Audio inputs for any AUv3, so you just need to route the MIDI to it, from a source above and left of the AUv3.

Thanks. Today I have invested some time to solve my problem.

In Drambo I got DerVoco to work.

Zenbeats and Cubasis 2 don't seem to support MIDI controllable audio effects. What a disappointment.
