Nembrini MRH810 & ToneX Marshall JCM800
I spent the evening playing with ToneX and it is good. Here's a short comparison of the Nembrini MRH810 (v2) and the ToneX 'Thunder Luck' preset - in that order. Both are Marshall JCM800 sims and are using their included stock IRs. I left the ToneX controls untouched and tried to match the tone of the Nembrini as best I could, but couldn't get it exactly right - need to go up to 11😁.
Both sound great in my opinion. However, the ToneX seems to be shrouded with a compressed fuzzy layer, which sounds great and actually prefer it in this recording. The Nembrini is closer to how my guitar really sounds and plays through an amp.
