The jump between full voice and falsetto is difficult on this track, you did great. I like the nonchalant singing on the verses. Really nice to see you venture out of your comfort zone !

The original is from Radiohead's second album, The Bends, which is a really awesome album all the way through and one of the best albums of the 90s. Sadly I can't really do it justice because Thom Yorke is a really outstanding singer and I can't match his vocal performance:

The G# in the chorus was really hard for me. I learnt the song about 6 months ago and I had to spend a few weeks just playing that note high up on the 16th fret and singing it back, over and over, until the note was seared in my mind. Even then I still can't sing it anything like the way Thom Yorke sings it.
(edited cos the note is obviously G# duh)
I think it is great you're working like this to extend your vocal range and develop new muscle memory. It is important to do this as untrained voice inevitably decay with aging. Keep working like this, this will bring new thing to your own songs !
I'll definitely record this one of these days. I am using an interesting open tuning (BEBEBE) which sounds great on almost every song I throw at it. This song especially.
