Your 2022 Desert Island DAW / Host / Groovebox is....?
If you could have only 1 host / groovebox type app out of all the apps released in 2022, what would it be and why?
Comments
NS2. Sorry, nothing better was released in the last two years.
Drambo v.2
I can’t think of anything even released in this space, maybe the 4xFM one?
Oh wait Vatanator pro, I still need to try that out properly!
I suppose Ableton Note and Sand spring to mind, not sure what else off the top of my head...
Drambo v2 no doubt
Know it was an update (but what an update!) - Drambo v2 for sure
I’d elbow Loopmix in. Needs work, but certainly good for a groove.
Drambo 2 with UI of Ableton Note![;) ;)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/wink.png)
iPad: Nanostudio 2
HW: Syntakt
Endlesss 1.4
Gonna have to cheat on this one and go with updates
iOS: Drambo
HW: MC-101
Android: G-Stomper
would be good if You would listed all apps from 2022 from each category
Cubasis and Korg Gadget. (Oops, just noticed you said released in 2022…)
Feel free to do that lol, I have other things to do. I can't even find a site that reliably lists apps released by date any more, as mentioned in the synth thread
GarageBand. Literally produced a song for a JUNO Nominee using just that.
Drambo
Drambo 2.0
AUM
Drambo
AUM any year...
Despite Drambo being released April Fool's Day 2020, Drambo 2.0 feels like a new app in many ways. So my answer is Drambo 2.0.
My overall answer however is Nanostudio 2. It sucks that it lacks audio tracks, but I've yet to come across anything better for my personal workflow.
Well, Zenbeats 3 shipped in 2022 so I'll say Zenbeats 3. Without the time restriction I'd say AUM.
Ableton Note. I frickin love it. And no I don’t use nor have any plans to use Ableton Live.
Nanostudio 2, disguised as something that was released in 2022.
cheers![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)

Still no word on a website that filters music apps by release date more reliably than Synthyfrog or Appsliced do?
