Connecting Audio Interface to Speaker
Hi all. I play guitar through my iPad Pro (Tonestack) using a Yamaha AG03 interface. I would like to connect the interface to something like a speaker cabinet (or something else if anyone has suggestions) so I can play live. My AG03 has two 1/4” jacks for monitor out and two RCA jacks. What kind of cable or gear do I need? I’m under the impression that I can’t just run it into a guitar amp and have it sound good. Can anyone help?

You mention a guitar CAB as well as a guitar AMP. Those are two different things. You won’t be able to run directly into a guitar CAB (that’s just the speaker portion with no amp). You can run directly into a guitar AMP from your interface but you may have to turn down the volume of the signal from the ipad. Otherwise, it may be too hot and overdrive unpleasantly.
Rereading your post, it sounds like you need a powered monitor (PA speaker) and a 1/4” cable. You’re already effectively using Tonestack as your “AMP”, yeah?
I’m not familiar with your interface but it seems like you “should” be able to come out if the monitor out into the PA speaker.
