SAMPLR gesture hold record?

Apologies for posing this question here.

I did try the developer a few times without response, and the app has no forum.

But this forum DOES have Samplr users. :)

When not recording, all the playing modes, Looper, Slicer etc allow you to hold finger position on the sample by pressing the hold button (like an infinity symbol).

But once record is pressed, the ability to hold positions is lost. Is there something I am missing like a setting or such?

It seems very bizarre to me that this option is not available, as my first instinct in record mode was to hold a few notes for the duration and jam around it.

    i tried held fingers not cleared during recording bug could be fixed
