GE Labs by Mooer

Anyone know if this will show up the same as biasfx, amplitube etc
Doesn’t show on compatibility list
Won’t work in Audiobus so want to swap to AUM
Thanks

  • Someone has brought up before that GE Labs doesn’t show up in Audiobus for some reason. It should though.

GE Labs is an IAA app just like bias and Amplitube, and it does show up in AUM. Be sure to use Ge Labs only in 44.1/88.2 kHz sample rate, it hisses otherwise. If your AUM is default set to 48kHz switch it to 44.1.

In what way doesn’t it work in Audiobus? It is likely to be problematic in AUM, too I’d think. It has been a long time since I used it (other better sounding apps with better connectivity have come along) but when I did it was somewhat flaky in AUM, too. Maybe, they have fixed those issues?

If I remember correctly, this issue was mentioned months ago in another thread. Something about Audiobus and Ge Labs not announcing themselves to each other, something like that.

  • When select apps on audiobus every other app is selectable except GE Labs. Bias, tonebridge anytune every guitar tone app I have or tried?
I tried emailing mooer but have no intention making it available

Appreciate if someone could download it for free and try?

    Cheers

What if you open mooer before trying to load it in Audiobus?

  • @Michael : Audiobus isn't seeing the GE-LABS app as an IAA effect even when it is running. Loopy Pro and AUM both see it, fwiw.

  • if AUM sees it then why not in the compatibility list?

    Is it maybe IAA-only?
