three tracks little ep made in Drambo

Hi everyone. I wanted to share my little release. I don't really know what genre I could assign it to.

These are three tracks made in Drambo. Each of them is done in a similar way and with the same "track-instruments" (rather simple synths), only the drum loops are different. Apart from these loops, the rest of the sounds come from Drambo modules. And the final effect is done with a little help from Fabfilters on the master.

I hope someone might enjoy it.

  • I really liked what I heard. Great breakbeats and synths, and very well mixed with nice punchy drums and warm synths.

I don't know if it fits a genre, but your tracks have a cool classic late 90s sound to them. A mix of Breakbeats, classic UK Garage, and a pinch of late 90s Trance (aka before the overused Supersaw came into play).

  • Hey @jwmmakerofmusic thanks so much for taking your time and listening. I appreciate it very much. And thanks very much for your kind words. Very cool that you enjoyed it. I know they're pretty straightforward songs and are confusingly similar to each other, but since I worked on them for a long time I didn't want to leave them unreleased.

    Thanks again.

  • Bump.

Well, sometimes straightforward songs are the best type of songs. :) I'm currently working on Lofi, which is also pretty straightforward. :) Okay, so Lofi employs a lot of sevenths, ninths, and chord extensions, but I've studied basic music theory and jazz music theory, so it comes easier to me.

I'm looking forward to what you create next. :)

  • Enjoying your creation as well.
    Invigorating and joyful.
Thank you for the positive vibe on this song.

  • @jwmmakerofmusic Thanks again!

@ReneAsologuitar Thanks for listening and your kind words. "Invigorating and joyful" - thanks for those great terms, because that's more or less how I perceive these songs - with an "uplifting" vibe. But I wasn't sure if they actually have that kind of character, or if it's my brain telling me so, because I've heard these songs so many times before.
