  • You know, Overdrive Synth I like but it’s a rompler, not really a synth.

  • Nambu, Tera Pro, RRS Ivoks, ThermoSynth.

  • My Top 5 list would be in order of purchase...

Mela 3, Tera Pro, Nambu, Trooper, Megalit

I only bought Tera Pro and Mela 3.

And seem to be able to resist the others... 🤗

Trooper is a must-have. So easy to use and smartly designed.

  • Can't help it, every time Trooper is mentioned this starts playing in my head...

(Ok, so I'm busted big-time, been an Iron Maiden fan since 4th grade).

You could do worse than Iron Maiden, my friend. ;) Classic rock group.

Hah true, we kind of lump them in together for these videos since there's not enough romplers released to do a full video :)

  • Really loving all these lists! Looks like there's some crossovers for sure :)

live playing: in cpu% usage from light to heavy, how could you sort them? (as far I bought Nambu and I love it, Mela tested on testflight is also tempting to buy, Tera Pro hmmm cpu problem for live usage as far as I read?)

On an M1 iPadPro none of them is super heavy.
CPU % is not a reliable value on iOS/iPadOS as it takes some time for the high-efficiency cores to kick in and CPU usage goes down.

TeraPro might be the heaviest one of them but even in that app the CPU usage varies between presets.

It all depends on how many apps you run at the same time and what iPad...
