    Might help if you mentioned what apps you are talking about… screenshots might help, too

    Yes, please. I have noticed that this happens for AUv3 that don't provide their own preset browser. The AUM app preset browser (file icon in app title bar) seems to only see factory presets; this is probably due to an oversight be the app dev.
