Post your Xmas Track Here!
4 years ago we had a thread with holiday tracks by ABF members. Thought I’d revive the sentiment.
Here’s my contribution (headphones if possible). Please, let’s hear yours. Merry Christmas to all and goodwill toward every gender!

sounds great really joyful track which i feel that it did catch the christmas essence and vibe
and another one's coming this weekend.
@LinearLineman Great idea bringing the thread back !
Merry Christmas all. 🌲✌🏾
Ticks all the boxes! Great Christmas track @LinearLineman
Very creative @eylvy
Super laid back @Thepixelproducers
I wanted to see how Christmassy I could get using generative apps like Riffer Piano Motifs and Riffler. So I hooked up some Riffers to Christmassy sounds in Bismark bs16i, recorded a timpani loop in Atom2, added a drone from AutoPad, had Piano Motifs play Pure Piano, let Riffler do its own thing and helped out by playing a melody using a Christmassy brass sound in SynthMaster One. FX courtesy of Blackhole, Alteza, Rack Reverb, Velvet Machine, Nembrini Rack Compressor and NY Compressor.
Every year my girlfriend and i make a silly x-mas video. This year it got just even more silly.
A bit of context for the non danes.
This is an old danish christmass song about a mouse who plays the banjo. It is one of the few commonly known banjo songs in Denmark and i have been called “Søren Banjomus” more than a few times.
So what could be more obvious than to do a cover version.
It was all made in cubasis.
The basic track is ioptigan that has been sampled with Koala Sampler to get better control over pitch and tempo.
The rest is just banjo an vocal with a little help from TB EQ and Compressor. Well…. a shit load of compressor on the lead vocal.
Superb stuff @LinearLineman , @eylvy , @Thepixelproducers , @AlterEgo_UK and @Lorichs .
Jul den Johnny made me laugh out loud!
“ For unto us an AI is born..”
Handless Messiah.
Hilarious!
Here’s my very rough offering using the latest Naada 2 instruments from GeoShred…
Thanks @AlterEgo_UK and @GeoTony 😊

That looked like a lot of fun to put together. Nicely done @Lorichs 👏🏾👏🏾
This is from a few years back...
Just posted
Great tracks! This will be my go-to for the holidays. So it made me want to add something.
This was actually made in 1995. I was asked to contribute to a (non-commercial) Christmas album. At that time I had a Kurzweil K2000 and I arranged it all on a Mac. To make it a bit more iOS relevant here I added some EQ and effects on the original file in AUM. I tried to give a bit more space and stereo separation with some delays and EOS reverb.
After a short intro with piano and strings it comes down to earth in a cold city street with a saxophone quartet. I had made some recordings wandering through the city including a guy on sax that I blended into the mix.
Ho ho ho… is this sufficiently Christmassy, even with sleighbells tacked on? You be the judge…
A dark and slightly claustrophobic march to a sloppy, grating and industrial consumerist drumbeat, with soft analogue tones and blatant festive signposting proving pleasantly, underwhelmingly distracting at the end…
Here’s to all those striking for better pay and conditions in Britain (and elsewhere!) this winter.
Since it may prove difficult to get an ambulance this year, I shall be attempting to avoid drinking myself into a protective coma overnight.
Stay safe out there!

Liked this on a cozy Christmas eve.
well done!
Here's another one. Same as before; 1995; blah blah blah.
A little late to the party but that’s how I do.
Here’s my latest, which coincidentally is a holiday song:
Happy holidays, everyone!
Literally late to the party… all of the tracks here are excellent … if I’m allowed to pick favourites I’d choose @Stochastically and @Ben 👍
Glad you liked it. Didn't expect any attention after the holidays. (or before )
Oh crap! I completely missed this thread in December. I did a Hanukkah tune over a year ago and never posted it here - don’t know why. Talk about late to the party, and it’s not even technically a Christmas tune, so feel free to not listen. This is my take on Rock of Ages.
Very kind of you @GeoTony. Thanks for the comment.
I agree. Some real talent on this forum.
