sale: BIAS IAPs 50% off
IAP sales aren't as obvious as regular sales; I just noticed this.

Thanks for the heads up! Not that I need any more amp models on my iPad, but I'm sure I'll get them anyway.
Do the IAPs transfer from Bias on iPad to Bias on iPhone? Or do you have to purchase them twice or possibly use iFunbox to try and transfer.
Thanks
@yowza IAPs are tied to the specific version of the app that you buy them in. Bias has seperate apps for iPhone and iPad, so you'd have to buy them twice. Jamup for example is a universal app, so for that you only have to buy IAPs once.
Where the h... do i find iap's in Bias ? I have looked and looked with no luck ?
^the cloud icon, then Bias Store.
But it's acting odd for me. Tried to buy Crunch for $4.99, after password, confirmation the little circle goes round and round, the "failed" message appears. Bought Glass and Hi-Gain, no issues. Tried Crunch again and it is back to full price of 9.99
I actually don't think you can buy them on the iPhone version. At least not as far as I can tell.
On iPad, check either the Custom or ToneCloud menus from the main screen. There should be an option to purchase the IAP's. But once you do that, you have to go find them in the ToneCloud. The 6 amps (per bundle) are just floating there for everyone to see, but only those who pay for the corresponding download can get them. It's a piss poor design within a very good app and a developer that usually handles IAP's quite well.
What are people's favorites?
Ahh thats why..i looked at my iphone. I see them now on my ipad.
And yes that is not very clever placed
Thanks for helping out!
I bought Crunch without problems, but the BIAS appstore has had quite a few problems in the past. I already had the Glass IAP. I have not purchased the Insane pack as that's not really my cup of tea.
As I see it, the pre-amp and power-amp modules (one each in each pack) are more important than the included amps, as they allow more flexibility when experimenting with one's own amps.

This should be more helpful than me guessing how they sound:

He preferred the Crunch pack, and it was worth noting that the "Glassy" ones are very difficult to get "dirty". You can add pedals in JamUp, obviously, but the Crunch ones probably have the best tonal range. Depends on your tastes, of course.
Tried again and Crunch went through at 4.99
JamUp Pro still has their app and IAPs on sale, too. I picked up their pro app and the Signature Metal IAP mainly cause I loved the tone of the "Merrow Drive" pedal which is $4.99 by itself - it was the same price to get the entire IAP expansion on sale.
That signature metal pack is very very good. I don't play metal, but it gets used a lot, the ola peace amp is fantastic and all of the pedals that come with it sound great.
hmmm, do you know of any demos of the metal signature pack that show off these amps and pedals without that metal feel? I tried to listen to some but I really can't stand all this heavy shredding and chugging, and I hate those hysterical squeals and string-tapping techniques...they really put me off, but sometimes these guys do seem to have brilliant clean tones too...and there's lot of stuff in that pack...
