Simple DRAMBO Question - Can’t modulate ARP Params with LFO?
OK so after DRAMBO gathering dust for too long I decided to have another go. (Loopy Pro, you’re next!)
So I’m trying something very simple, but am defeated almost right away … sigh … I think this is why I shelved it away back, combined with the manual being pretty brief and based on v1.11, and me not having the patience to work through loads of videos hoping they answer my question. (Thanks to everyone who’s taken the time to make these btw )
I have DRAMBO loaded as a MIDI effect and have an ARP module loaded. Receiving notes, routing output to a synth, all good so far.
So, following the manual, I want to modulate the “Gate” or other ARP parameter with an LFO. So I add an LFO to the left of the ARP, then tap the “Gate” button (as it has an arrow to the left) expecting to be able to select the LFO as a modulation source, but the LFO window is empty and I can’t connect it to the ARP. Sigh. Have I misread the manual or is this not working as intended?
Any help appreciated!

Try replacing that LFO module. It doesn't look right (for instance it's wider). If that's a patch you loaded that was built on a previous version you might be getting an outdated version of the module.
Same setup works fine here.
Thanks for that … the patch was built from scratch, and I had already replaced the LFO module several times.
It is the first thing I did after updating to Drambo 2.2, so maybe something there.
I wonder if it's a GUI/redrawing issue ... in the screenshot above, the location of the mod source button at the bottom of the LFO module would have been cropped, even if it was there, but when redrawn properly it appears as intended.
Weird thing is that after switching to another app and back (this browser I think to post the ABF message), I remember the buttons appearing correctly ... so maybe I've found an edge case where redrawing doesn't' happen properly.

Just enlarge your AU window. Seems like the output of LFO is hidden due to insufficient window height.
I had tried that but the window simply rescaled the same layout as in the screenshot, without stretching the module windows to their full height.
Isn't it more about adjusting aspect ratio to force the app to lay out differently, rather than just resizing? Or maybe that's what you meant?
Thanks for the suggestion though![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
Just asking. Is you iPad maybe a 10.5" model?
Yes the iPad Pro 2017 10.5"
Is there a particular reason why you're using the AUv3 version of Drambo and not the standalone?
My main use case for Drambo is as an audio/MIDI effects processor, so the AUv3 version fits best with that.
Your rack is being hidden by the track pads! You can see it’s also hiding the pitch output of midi to cv. There is a slider to move it

Thanks ... though tapping that button causes the track pads to fill the window and hide the modules entirely, but I can reproduce my original layout when the keyboard area is visible:
You need to also hide the keyboard and find the right height for the window. Seems like an issue with Drambo with too many elements expanded and some non-standard aspect ratio.
I was able go reproduce your case and fix it by adjusting the window size and hiding the keyboard (pads)
@craftycurate I'd recommend to tap this button:

Thanks everyone ... at least I know what's happening now![:) :)](https://forum.loopypro.com/resources/emoji/smile.png)
New Drambo update just dropped with a few fixes too...
