A Koala Tip (Swinging 8th Notes)
Swing on the Koala sequencer only seems to effect 16th notes (please correct me if I’m wrong). This makes it pretty much useless for Hip Hop swing, which generally happens on the 8th notes. So here’s a work around to get your 8th notes to swing.
Half the tempo, and treat each one bar loop as a two bar loop. So instead of the beats being steps 1,5,9 and 13, they’ll be 1,3,5,7,9,11,13 and 15. And now the Swing slider will effect your 8th notes.
Unfortunately the tempo only goes down to 40bpm, so the slowest loop you can make is 80bpm. I’m not sure why anyone would choose to limit the lowest tempo on a device to 40bpm. Strange design choice. But see it this idea works for you.

Ableton Link also has tempo limits…
But it can swing 8th notes, no?
koala swing feature it more suited for tempo between 50 and 110 bpm
It’s only for syncing across apps and devices and has nothing to dowith swing.
