Not even a Grammy or Oscar nomination or various Reviewers these days are 100% objective...
...it's just another method/forum to influence and feed certain opinions to 'stupid people' who are too 'blind' to see that they are being 'played'...
If someone higher up in the food-chain says it's good then I must be stupid for not understanding it's good right?

Bit harsh Samu! I think it's natural enough for people who follow a particular YouTube channel to appreciate a quick summary of that person's faves of the year - people who watch particular channels tend to have taste that resonates somewhat with that of the host. The use of 'top' or 'best' is an unfortunate but probably necessary concession to the YT search algorithm. Of course it goes without saying that these lists are subjective, and even someone doing this full time would be hard pushed to have a chance to get properly familiar with every release, so there's also a certain arbitrariness there. Peace, brother!
The intention was definitely not to trash the video but to avoid the discussion why ‘insert favorite app’ was not on the list. I like what Vortex does and agree with his picks.

Yeah I get you, there's always going to be someone mortally offended their fave didn't make the reviewer's final list. I remember the flack I got from someone for not including Drambo on my 2020 list. Well yeah, I get why people use it but I personally don't, so it would be a bit silly to put it on my personal list of faves. I did however acknowledge it in the video as an app that would - rightfully - make many 'best of' lists.
i would say fac medusa is my one pick of new fx auv3 that came out for iphone this 2022
Lo-fi-af and bass mint are both amazing apps but it's hard to narrow it down to only 5 for the whole year lol
Not sure how familiar you are with mastering apps but there is MUCH more happening in the mastering process and in GF2 than just raising the volume.
