Playable string/orch vst

For the Mac I have some Spitfire Libs but the playing felling is not good to me.

Do you know of any good vsts that are more workstation like where you just load and play.

Besides big score strings I really like small ensemble like quartets etc.

    Korg Module has some orchestral samples for in-app purchase that don't utilize the mod wheel to control dynamics, but I don't think it even has woodwinds ensemble patches. I'm not sure if it has staccato patches for brass, either; my free trial of the brass IAP ended, otherwise I would check for you. It has a decent number of strings patches. Decent Sampler has a few, some of which are free. iSymphonic probably has the most broad selection, but it is kind of old. Pure Synth has a few orchestral patches. Staffpad has good orchestral samples, but they're not playable; you enter notes into sheet music and it plays them back.

    You could also download a soundfont player like bismark bs-16i or an app called SoundFonts by Brad Howes, and just download free soundfonts to use with it.

    Korg Module and its KaPro IAP packs are really awesome! :) I don't think they have a woodwinds pack yet as far as I know, but I'm sure one will be released in the future.
