Splat-to-Clat is 🔥 🔥 🔥

I just wanted to shout out this incredible app! The drums are sick af! Just used it to make a Drill track in NS2. A ton of effects to choose from per pad really sets this apart from other drum apps I've toyed with!

Question for @GospelMusicians , any chance we can get Splat on the iPhone? Hard for me to go back to my drum samples after playing with this amazing drum rompler!

Planning to purchase the Pure Synth sounds soon as a "thank you".

YES! 😃 Damn right it is!

It is SO good. High cpu use and storage. But so good. I deleted it from my older ipads because it was hard to add more than a couple instruments to a track before choking.

    The sequenced beats are inspiring.

Yep my M1 can handle Splat very well. 😉 But I wouldn't bother with my iPad Mini 5. 😂

Yep, Splat was the first thing I reached for when I wanted to test knock, killer combo!

@GospelMusicians any sign of that midi out update so we can use those excellent sequences to play other drums? 🙏

The Midi clips can be exported and used with as an example Atom 2, but that's not optimal...

@GospelMusicians What I would like to see is an option to use all the built-in midi-loops with any of the built-in kits for starters.

What's the logic of locking a midi-file to a specific kit when it could referenced and used by all the other kits as well?
I get it that some kits have more sounds that others and the kit-layouts may differ but that could lead to interesting surprises :sunglasses:

  • For real, I don’t even need to worry about drums anymore cos the samples are so good. After a bit of midi setup, Lumbeats has been an awesome combo with it

  • still no offline bounce in GB…auv3 crashes…

(yes i reported via official channels since release…and crickets)

  • I’m not buying any other apps until I get splat to clat and knock. I’ve been using FAC Medusa and it is awesome but every time I see something about them and hear demos I get serious FOMO. Just can’t justify it right now. Just bought the Magic Death eye stuff after a serious app binge and glitchscaper… Also wife just had a baby literally 5 days ago. Trying to be more thrifty. I think this will be the final splurge for a very good while when I get the funds. Overall though I’m really pretty set on compressors and drum apps at the moment as it is lol

  • This app sounds fantastic but I’m really confused why you cannot cycle through the presets and have it continue playing.

    Same problem for me @GospelMusicians!
I was wondering if I was doing something wrong.
This drives me crazy : )

  • Splat-to-Clat is...So clunky, and it's a huge shame :(

  • I like the sounds that come with Splat-to-Clat and up until now I only used it as a sound module. For once I hope they will come with additional packs. Still I miss a decent AU sampler/sound module that can do round robin, random cycling, has a decent library and basic editing capabilities. Patterning is nice for the quite huge user library but is IAA, BeatMaker can do a lot but is IAA and more complex and BeatHawk I find pretty limited.

  • Really like it, love the sounds. I love layering the loops and mixing the beats. Mostly I use the pads to record into Atom2 and then reverse the midi so Atom then controls S2C and then I do further edits. It may seem a bit tedious, but I like it. Suits me. I find it inspiring.
